CLUBHOUSE

Our Clubhouse program is called Outlook and allows persons with
mental illness to gain daily living skills, build self-confidence, and
improve relationship skills.  The consumer directed program offers
various areas or units that members can participate in and gain skills.
Units such as food services, clerical, maintenance, and outreach teach
valuable skills and assist members in maintaining their independence in
the community. Outlook may be contacted directly by:
outlook@cbpu.com
COMMUNITY INCLUSION:

The Community Inclusion provides participation in various community
based activities.  The program operates M-F and offers socialization,
skill building, recreation, and work experiences.  Consumers experience
a wide variety of community outings and volunteer activities. Staff work
with individuals to improve their self-care skills, provide meaningful daily
activities, and interact in various community events.  Currently,
consumers are volunteering at the humane society, the food pantry, the
senior citizen programs, and various other locations.  The program
provides a sense of purpose and meaning to consumers and allows
them to oftentimes remain in a less restrictive home setting.
